How to Find Out Which Apple Watch Band or Cover You Need
IMPORTANT
If you are looking to get an Apple Watch band or an Apple Watch cover, you'll need to know which size model you have in order for your band and case cover to fit properly. It is best to double check your model before completing your check-out.
In any case, if you don't know or aren't sure which Apple Watch you have, there are multiple ways for you to find out.
The easiest way is to simply turn your Apple Watch over and look on the back. There will be an engraving on it which will tell you which model and size you have. If you just see "Apple Watch" with no series after, then you have the 1st generation Apple Watch (also known as Series 0).

If you can't read the engraving because it is damaged, scuffed, faded, then you can go into your iPhone watch app and go to Settings → General → About →Model. Then you can simply do a Google search and your model should show up.
You can also follow Apples official support document for finding your Apple Watch model.
Once you find out your Apple Watch size, you can read below to find your exact Apple Watch Series:
Small Apple Watch Series:
- 38mm, Apple Watch Series 0, 1, 2 or 3
- 40mm, Apple Watch Series 4, 5, SE or 6
- 41mm, Apple Watch Series 7, 8
Large Apple Watch Series:
- 42mm, Apple Watch Series 0, 1, 2 or 3
- 44mm, Apple Watch Series 4, 5, SE or 6
- 45mm, Apple Watch Series 7, 8
- 49mm, Apple Watch Series 8

I have an apple watch series 7 with a cream "rubberish band that must be threaded thru the entire length of the watch to shorten to smallest whole (skinny wrist). 41mm. It takes two people to do this. I would like a velcro closing band that I can just close on and off by myself. I am 83 years old. I do not want you to publish this but would like you to respond. what do you recommend I buy? Thanks.
@tom loganbill for size 10 in Apple Watch 45mm a size large may fit you best. For Apple Watch 41mm a size XL may fit you best!
