What is Zip?
Zip’s payment platform gives shoppers the choice to pay for their purchases via 4 simple, interest-free installments. Zip is a platform built for shoppers, that empowers them to buy now, pay over time and avoid interest repayments.
Why use Zip?
By using Zip, you have the opportunity to split your Anhem purchase into four (4) easy installments and pay for your order over 6 weeks instead of all at once.
How to purchase through Zip?
You simply go through the normal check-out process, and choose "Zip" as your selected payment method. You will be redirected to a new page where you can finish your check-out.
What does it cost to use Zip?
If a customer pays on time, there is never a cost to using Zip.
Are there late fees?
There is only a $7 fee charge on late payments that are overdue. If a customer remains late 7 days after the original payment due date, Zip reserves the right to charge an additional $7 fee. $14 is the maximum a customer will ever be charged for an individual order.
Is there a hard credit check?
NO. Zip never performs a hard credit check on customers and there's no impact on a customer's credit score rating by using Zip, ever.
How do refunds work?
As soon as we approve and process a refund for a customer that has checked out with Zip, the refund will be immediately processed by Zip.
If the refund is in full, the customer will have any funds paid-to-date refunded immediately to their card and all future installments will be cancelled.
If the refund is partial, the refund amount will be applied to the total purchase amount starting with the last installment.
For example, if a purchase was for $100 (4 x $25 installments) and a partial refund of $25 was issued, Zip would cancel the 4th installment. If a refund of $50 was issued, Zip would cancel the 4th and 3rd installments.
What payment types are accepted?
Zip accepts all U.S. credit and debit cards (including Discover and American Express). However, Zip does not accept credit or debit cards from overseas or pre-paid debit cards.
Who can use Zip?
In order to have an account with Zip, a customer must:
- Live in the U.S.
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid and verifiable mobile number
- Use a U.S. credit or debit card to make a purchase
How can I check my Zip orders or account?
Customers can login to the Zip customer portal to review your order, update your payment details, and make additional payments here: https://customer.us.zip.co/en-US/login
If you need assistance with your account, please contact Zip customer support directly: https://zip.co/us/contact-us
Can I change my payment date?
A customer can request to move a payment date by contacting Zip customer support in the link above. Please note, it can take 24-48 hours for the update to be reflected. If a customer does miss a payment, as long as they pay within 7 days of the payment date they won't be charged a late fee.
Is there a limit to how much I can spend on Zip?
Zip does not approve every order. Zip's automated system takes into account various factors to determine whether customers are approved and what spend limit they can provide customers with.
Zip will charge the customer 25% of the purchase amount at the time of the transaction. If the customer doesn't have this amount available, the order won't go through.
If a customer is a repeat purchaser and has completed all prior repayments on time, there is a high chance they will receive a higher limit than a new customer.
Why was my card charged multiple times?
This is usually due to an incorrect zip code that was entered. When this occurs, the customer's bank may hold the funds as temporarily pending. In this instance, the customer hasn't been charged and this will be reversed shortly.
If the issue persists, the customer should contact their local bank in the first instance and if they confirm a charge has been made, please contact Zip at https://zip.co/us/contact-us.
