Samsung's Gear S3 smartwatch has been a huge success. It is a premium smartwatch that some may claim to be an Apple iWatch killer. However, one of the downsides to the impressive Gear S3 can arguably be its size. The size of the Gear S3 is relatively large and bulky and only appeals to a limited number of users.
This leaves out a large portion of the market that Samsung could have been apart of. In an age where technology is constantly jumping forward, smaller technology seems to be the future. Yet, the Samsung Gear S3 was released to be one of the largest smart watches on the market.
News has surfaced however, that Samsung's new Gear S4 may come with a processor that is smaller, and more energy efficient than the processor found in the current Gear S3. This means that the Gear S4 will have the potential to be smaller, yet retaining and even improving on its performance.
Is the current size of the Samsung Gear S3 a deal breaker for you? Too large, too bulky? Would you be interested in a smaller smart watch for the Gear S4?
The new smartwatch hasn't been announced yet, but we can expect to hear about it more at this years IFA later in the fall.
